58th Atlanta Boat Show

The 2020 Atlanta Boat Show, Georgia’s biggest boating event of the year, returns Jan. 16-19, bringing nearly 30,000 people to downtown Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center. The Show, now in its 58th year, is for boating enthusiasts of all ages, with 600-plus of the newest boats available, along with the latest advancements in marine accessories, technology and gear.
This year’s show returns to Hall C at the Georgia World Congress Center, with parking in Yellow and Gold Decks.
An enhanced Career Day timed with National Mentoring Month and in conjunction with Lanier Technical College provides opportunities for job seekers and students, while small sailors can enjoy fun activities in the Kids’ Zone and Nautical Storytimes. End the work day with Boats & Brews Happy Hours on Thursday and Friday, enhance fishing and boating skills with more than 100 seminars and DIY workshops, and “reel” in a big one at both a virtual reality station and 5,000-gallon aquarium.
Among This Year’s Show Features:
Queen of the Show: Bringing royalty to the water is this year’s largest boat, making the Everglades 435cc Center Console the 2020 Queen of the Show! At 43 feet, this ultimate fishing vessel includes a luxurious cabin with plush seating, fully equipped head with standing shower as well as a full bait-prep workstation, including 10 tackle drawers, 300-plus gallons of fish boxes and more!
Discover Boating Experience: This year’s show will feature a brand-new entertainment hub, the Discover Boating Experience (DBX). It’s is a place to relax and mingle over nautical beverages while enjoying short form seminars, hearing stories from Atlanta voices and businesses, exploring new products, learning boat care tips, discovering new technologies and more.

Feel the strike! Watch the rod bend! Experience the pull as your fish runs for the bottom! This interactive fishing simulator is as “reel” as it gets without getting your line wet. Stand shoulder-to-shoulder and enjoy friendly competition with your fishing partner to see who can land the big one.
Reel fun for everyone, from aspiring anglers to full-blown fishing fanatics! The Hawg Trough is back for 2020 with live fishing demonstrations and seminars experience fishing in a whole new way-from the viewpoint of the fish. Watch pro anglers demonstrate their fishing and casting skills at this 5,000-gallon aquarium fully stocked with fish.
Looking for something to do with the kids? Stop by the boat show for some fun activities for young mariners, includes a bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, and coloring. Plus a special guest that every kid knows and will love to see. This years’ special guest for the kids will be on site between 2-4 pm Saturday and Sunday.
Offering an interactive area to mingle with other attendees, listen to presentations by outdoors enthusiasts, participate in demos, discover new products, and more, the DBX Hub offers guests a variety of avenues to connect to the boating and outdoor world.
Daily sailing seminars available for sailors of all ages. You're sure to find a session that suits your sailing skills, whether you're simply curious, a new sailor still learning the ropes or consider yourself an able skipper.

Take the helm and set out on a simulated “boat trip” to practice boating skills such as docking, pivot turns, stopping and more. The America’s Boating Club Boating Skills Virtual Trainer is equipped with a steering wheel and real Mercury throttle to give you hands-on experience as you pilot your virtual boat on a lake with other powerboats, sailboats, navigation aids and a marina.
Allen “Frankendread” Holland is a Key West based singer/songwriter and performer of island steel pan music. He has a distinctive voice and plays songs everyone enjoys. His performances have put smiles on people's faces around the world.
Sunday only, it’s Family Day! Special on-line ticket prices for the whole family. It’s presented by the Marine Trade Association of Metro Atlanta. Family Day tickets are available for purchase in advance and online only.
