Currahee Club
announces general manager
Lonnie Eberhard, CCM, has joined Currahee Club as its
general manager, bringing with him more than 20 years of leadership
experience in private club management. Eberhard will oversee all
Currahee Club golf club and Property Owners Association operations.
Eberhard’s zeal for southern hospitality and superior
service is evident by his extensive experience with some of the
region’s top private communities and board positions. His resume
includes service as the 2004 president of the Florida Club Managers
Association (CMA) and various executive roles with the Florida
Restaurant Association (FRA). Before joining Currahee Club, Eberhard
held positions with Audubon Country Club in Naples, Fla., before
being named the club’s general manager. Eberhard began his career at
Island Country Club in Marco Island, Fla., where he was appointed to
general manager at age 28.
Currahee Club, a golf, lake and mountain community,
is located 90 minutes from Atlanta and 60 minutes from Greenville,
S.C., off of Highway 17 in Toccoa, Ga.
