A Georgia license tag must be purchased by out-of-state newcomers
within a thirty (30) day period. If you need further information,

Voter Registration
Residents of Dawson County may register to vote in the Registrar's
office. If you have any questions, please call the Registrar's

Pet Registration
Dogs, cats and other domestic animals must be inoculated annually
for rabies and must wear proof if vaccination at all times. Dawson
County ordinances require dogs to be on a leash or under the control

School Registration
Children entering the Georgia Public Schools for the first time must
present proof of immunization against measles, mumps, rubella,
polio, whooping cough, diphtheria, and tetanus. Kindergartners and
first graders must also have birth certificates and show proof of
ear, eye and dental examinations. Other students should present
