Acworth celebrates Pro Wakeboard Tour with block party May 17
 With
the Pro Wakeboard Tour at Allatoona Lake, the Downtown Historic
District of Acworth will be the heart of all the action on Saturday,
May 17. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be a skate night for
local skateboarders and teams, live bands, extreme events, and
outdoor dining.

 Fishermen
out for their weekly night of angling saw the flames and called 911
after two boats caught fire at Victoria Harbour Marina in mid-April.
The fire on H Dock destroyed two boats and sections of the dock. No
one was injured.

demos set for May 25-26
 About
a dozen national knee boarding champions are coming to Allatoona
Lake at the headwaters of Little River on May 25-26 for
demonstrations and a chance for people to learn more about the
sport.
