The Southern Outdoor Expo will take place at the Infinite Energy Center in Gwinnett County on Saturday, January 16, from 8 a.m.. to 4 p.m. Organized by Jim Mathley, owner of Jimbo’s Lake Lanier Guide Service, the event will feature a variety of outdoor recreation products and services.
“For the past three years, we have held a show with vendors and seminars in Forsyth County, but we have outgrown the space, so we’re moving to the Infinite Energy center to expand,” said Agenna Mathley. “Jimbo has been offering fishing seminars in January and again in the fall for eight years and has a good following. We expect to have plenty of vendors in our new location.”
The expo will have seminars, classes, demonstrations, boat dealers and children’s activities. Mathley said they are also targeting outdoor recreation vendors including camping and hunting.
