‘Current’ art show

On Saturday, March 2, Zhik Sailing Gear will host the opening reception for “Current,” an art show highlighting the artists of Tannery Row in Buford. The reception, which is free to the public, takes place from 3 to 7 p.m. The reception celebrates the group’s ninth anniversary show that will continue from March 2 through April 13.

Tannery Row Artist Colony is a collection of 17 working artists’ studios featuring potters, welders, painters and jewelers, all housed under one roof in the historic Tannery warehouse at 554 West Main St., Building C in Buford. Zhik is also located at the Tannery Warehouse. “The galleries will feature the artists’ ‘current’ work, many of which involve water and Lake Lanier,” said Donna Biggee with Tannery Row. “Each artist’s studio will be open during the reception; there will also be free music and food.”

In addition, Aqua Terra Bistro is offering special discount coupons to show attendees.
