Before its own inspection, marina officials from Hideaway Bay were required to observe a certification visit at another marina.
The marina also undertook an extensive dredging and dock rebuild in recent years.

Hideaway Bay, a full-service marina, houses 850 boats in covered, uncovered and land storage. It is located in Flowery Branch at 6334 Mitchell Street. The website is For more info about Safe Harbor Marinas, visit
