Margaritaville’s Port of Indecision Marina to add dry-stack storage

By Pamela A. Keene Margaritaville at Lanier Islands has broken ground in October for a 250-space dry-stack storage building.
“The covered and enclosed building will have space for 250 boats up to 40 feet long,” said Bucky Perry, vice president of operations at Margaritaville. “Plans are to have it ready by spring 2020, and we expect to be taking reservations sometime after the first of the year.”
The dry stack will be located adjacent to the Port of Indecision Marina. Another 50 covered wet slips are planned.
“Right now, we have availability for more boats in our 129 covered wet slips at Phase 1 of the marina,” Perry said. “People who rent slips have walkway access to Margaritaville’s beach and entertainment areas, plus they have access to the amenities here.”
Marina leases include annual season passes to summer and winter events, including License to Chill Snow Island and Magical Nights of Lights, plus discounts at Margaritaville.
Margaritaville also offers day slips at LandShark Landing for a nominal fee.
