Two artists join Gainesville’s Gallery on Main

Artists Fran Allin Hazel and Debra Nadelhoffer have joined Gallery on the Square in downtown Gainesville.

Hazel’s work focuses on abstracts and landscapes created in oil. Self-taught, she frequently works with fields of color to “find the extraordinary in the ordinary.” She is an artist at the Art Colony of Georgia in Gainesville.

Debra Nadelhoffer frequently paints plein air, capturing the moment on her canvas. Among other organizations, she is a signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists, choosing  maritime subjects and other landscapes. She also teaches oil and pastel at her studio and conducts workshops across the country.

Gallery on the Square is celebrating its 12th year of showcasing North Georgia artists and selling original works of art. It is located in Main Street Market in downtown Gainesville.

It is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. The phone number is 770 718-7632. The website is gallerysq.com.
