Vince Gill, TajMo to perform at Gainesville Garden

Country music singer-songwriter Vince Gill kicks off the Concerts in the Garden series June 10 at the Ivester Amphitheatre, Gainesville Garden, Atlanta Botanical Garden. The outdoor concert is one of three planned at the Gainesville location. Veteran blues duo TajMo: The Tag Majol & Keb’Mo’Band are scheduled Sept. 30. As of late April, the third performer had not been announced.
 
Tickets for the Vince Gill show cost $53.50 for non-members, $51.50 for members. TajMo seats go for $44.50 and $ 42.50. Tickets are available online (www.concertsinthegarden.org) or in person at Garden Admission. All tickets are general admission. The gate opens at 5:30 p.m. Shows start at 8 p.m.
 
Concert goers may bring blankets or low rise-chairs into the grassy amphitheatre. Outside food, beverage and coolers are not permitted. Cash bars and food purchases will be available. Ticket holders may order food in advance from Talk of the Town Catering through a link at the concert website.
 
The Gainesville Garden has no concert parking on site, except for cars with valid handicap stickers. All parking is at Lakeview Academy, 796 Lakeview Drive. Shuttles begin at 5:30 p.m. for general admission, 5 p.m. for Platinum ticket holders. Walk in concert goers may park at Liberty Gas at the corner of Limestone Pkwy. and Cleveland Hwy.
 
Atlanta Botanical Gardens Midtown Garden will feature seven performances on the Great Lawn: Gladys Knight, June 18; Michael Feinstein: Songs of Sinatra, July 17; Barenaked Ladies, July 21; Brandi Carlile, July 23; American Acoustic: Punch Brothers & I’m With Her, Aug. 11; Buddy Guy, Aug. 25; and Garrison Keillor Prairie Home Love & Comedy Show, Sept. 8.
